'Ruturaj Gaikwad got angry after seeing cheating in the live match, said – 'How can you give him out'?

Currently, India A team is playing unofficial test matches on Australia tour, but India A captain Ruturaj Gaikwad's heart is still with Maharashtra Ranji team. This is because Ruturaj, sitting in Australia, has raised questions regarding umpiring in Ranji Trophy matches. He has expressed his displeasure over the controversial dismissal of Maharashtra captain Ankit Bawne.

In the Ranji Trophy match against Services, Ankit's bat hit the edge and the fielder took a bomb catch at second slip but the umpire gave it out. When the replays were seen, it was found that the ball had touched the ground and this strange umpiring call left the cricket fans stunned. When Maharashtra cricketer Ruturaj Gaikwad came to know about this incident, he wasted no time in expressing his displeasure on social media.

Gaikwad supported his teammate from Australia and shared videos of the replays on his Instagram story and raised questions about the standards of umpiring. Gaikwad even felt embarrassed for appealing to Services even though he knew the ball had touched the ground. Gaikwad wrote in his story, “How can this be given out in a live game? Even appealing for a catch is shameful. Absolutely pathetic.”

Meanwhile, Ruturaj Gaikwad is struggling to prove himself in red-ball cricket. In two practice matches against Australia, he scored a total of 20 runs in 4 innings. Due to his poor performance, his claim for the Border Gavaskar Series has been reduced and the cricketer may have to wait a long time for his rights. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see when Gaikwad is given a chance in the Indian Test team again.
