The IPL 2025 mega auction will take place in Jeddah on November 24 and 25, with Mallika Sagar set to take the place of auctioneer. According to TOI, Sagar, who became the IPL’s female auctioneer before the start of the 17th season, has been a part of different auctions for over 20 years.
She was also involved in the auction of the Women’s Premier League and the Pro Kabaddi League. She replaced Hugh Edmeades in the last year’s mini-auction.

The 48-year-old Mallika Sagar hails from Mumbai and is famous among the sporting circles. She is conducting auctions for 25 years Mallika is a specialist in the modern and contemporary Indian art.
At 26, she was the first Indian auctioneer for Christie’s. Mallika Sagar led several auctions at the Pundole”s Art Galleries in Mumbai.
