How did Anshula Kapoor live after her parents' divorce? shared story

Arjun Kapoor's sister Anshula Kapoor is making her mark with her work. She is inspiring those women who are troubled by their body shaming and who have to face trolling for being overweight. Not only this, Anshula also spread awareness about PCOD by talking about her own journey. Recently, he talked about the divorce between his parents Boney Kapoor and Mona Kapoor after marrying Sridevi.

Recently, in an interview on Hotterfly, Anshula spoke for the first time about growing up as a daughter of divorced parents. He explained that in the '90s, when his parents separated, people never knew what to say. However, many people began to question her upbringing and family values, causing her to isolate herself.

Anshula further told that earlier she lived in a joint family and the household work was run by her grandmother. However, when his mother started living in her own house, he took over everything. She was a home taker, breadwinner, problem solver and what not.

Anshula also shared an interesting anecdote about growing up with her six-year-old brother Arjun. He said that despite the age difference, his mother had set the same rules for both of them. However, since his brother Arjun was older than him, he was always expected to take care of him.

Arjun never lags behind in encouraging his sister. Just a few days ago, he had attended a program in which Anshula was reciting a poem written about her mother. The clip started with Anshula being on stage and her lovely brother recording her poem on his camera. Anshula told that her mother often told her to do whatever you want to do and become whatever you want to be. At the end of the video, Arjun and Anshula were seen hugging each other.
