Bollywood actor Himansh Kohli and data scientist Vini Kalra tied the knot on November 12, in Delhi.
In an interview with Times of IndiaHimansh explained how he and Vini met. “Vini is a scientist and has been working in the US for the last eight years. Ours is an arranged marriage; we met through our parents in Katni, Madhya Pradesh, in February, while she was on a holiday. Vini and I come from different backgrounds, so we have a lot to talk about. But what really matters is that two people are on the same wavelength.”
“Vini was keen to have an intimate wedding ceremony with all the rituals and so was I. We are both Radha-Krishna devoteesso we decided to get married at an ISKCON temple in Delhi,” Himansh said.
He also revealed that they are planning to host a wedding reception in Mumbai soon. “I recently bought a new home in Mumbai, and Vini and I are looking forward to starting this new phase with God’s blessings. I am yet to wrap up things in Delhi and return to Mumbai. We plan to host a reception in Mumbai soon.”
Himansh started out as a radio jockey at Radio Mirchi before making his TV debut playing Raghav Oberoi in soap opera We are life. He later made his Bollywood debut in 2014 in Divya Kumar’s Help themwhich became a commercial success. He has also started in Jeena is this name, Sweetiee Weds NRI, and Ranchi Diaries. Himansh is currently shooting for his next film, Julia and Kalia.
