News Update :- Prime Minister Modi yesterday laid the foundation stone for the construction of AIIMS Hospital in Darbhanga, Bihar. Speaking on the occasion, he said: As part of the plan to improve access to quality health care for people across the country, set up a new AIIMS hospital and other development projects in Darbhanga, Bihar at a cost of Rs 12,100 crore Are going. This will improve the health infrastructure in the area. This will benefit the people of Mithila, Koshi and Tirgur regions of Bihar as well as the surrounding areas and West Bengal. People from Nopalam can also come here for treatment.

Previous governments did not pay attention to meeting the health needs of the poor. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is taking important steps to change the health services of Bihar. 1.5 lakh Ayushman Arogya Mandirs have been established across the country. More than 4 crore patients have been successfully treated under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Even after independence, there was only one AIIMS hospital in Delhi. The Congress government is responsible for not building more AIIMS hospitals. My government took concrete steps to expand AIIMS hospitals across the country. At present, my government has established 24 AIIMS hospitals in different parts of the country. The number of medical colleges has also doubled in the last 10 years. Another 75,000 medical spaces will be created in the coming years. Prime Minister Modi said this.
