574 players shortlisted for mega auction, these big names including Joffra Archer are out

IPL 2025: 1574 players had drafted their names for the auction to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on 24 and 25 November. But, all the 10 franchises together have shortlisted the names of only 574 players. Out of this, only a maximum of 204 players will be sold, because only so many slots are vacant. So let's know

574 players shortlisted for IPL 2025

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah on Friday gave important information related to the upcoming IPL 2025 mega auction. According to official information, out of the 574 players shortlisted in the IPL 2025 mega auction, 366 are Indians and 208 are foreigners. 318 Indian uncapped players and 12 uncapped foreign players will be included in the auction. However, only 204 players will be able to be sold because only so many slots are vacant. There are 70 available slots vacant for foreign players.

Many big names were out

Before the Indian Premier League 2025 mega auction, all 10 franchises have together shortlisted the names on which they are interested in bidding during the auction. In this, big names like fast bowler Joffra Archer, experienced spinner Amit Mishra, Saurabh Netrawalkar, Cameron Green have been left out.

Auction will be held on 24-25 November

Preparations for IPL 2025 mega auction are going on in full swing. The fate of 574 players is going to be decided on 24th and 25th November. Every cricket fan is currently waiting for these dates. This auction is going to be very special, because many big players have arrived in it. The list includes many big names including Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Jos Buttler.

The name of the youngest player to participate in this auction is Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is 14 years old. At the same time, the oldest player is James Anderson, who is 42 years old.

Mumbai Indians: Rs 55 crore.

Sunrisers Hyderabad: Rs 45 crore.

Lucknow Super Giants: Rs 69 crore.

Punjab Kings: Rs 110.5 crore.

Rajasthan Royals: Rs 41 crore.

Chennai Super Kings: Rs 65 crore.

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Rs 83 crore.

Kolkata Knight Riders: Rs 51 crore.

Delhi Capitals: Rs 73 crore.

Gujarat Titans: Rs 69 crore.
