Character glimpse of Atharvaa from Nirangal Moondru out
Ahead of the film’s release on November 22, the makers of Karthick Naren’s next, Nirangal Moondrureleased a glimpse of Atharvaa’s character on Friday.
Atharvaa is introduced as Vetri, an aspiring filmmaker who is frustrated by being shown the door by producers. Vetri is seen as an unconventional creator writing stories without songs or a heroine, which is a constant in Tamil cinema.
The film marks actor Rahman’s second collaboration with Karthick after his debut in Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru (2016), while Atharvaa and Sarath Kumar join hands with the director for the first time. Nirangal Moondru is Karthick’s fifth film after Dhuruvangal Pathinaru (2016), Mafia: Chapter 1 (2020), a segment in Navarasa (2021), and Dhanush-starrer Maaran (2022). His Naragasooran is yet to see the light of the day.
Nirangal Moondru also stars Nikki Galrani. With Jakes Bejoy scoring music, the film has Tijo Tomy on cinematography. Sreejith Sarang is Nirangal Moondru‘s editor, while Don Ashok has handled stunts.
In an earlier interaction with CE, Karthick Naren said that the film will be a hyperlink thriller and the title denotes the three shades we have as humans: black, white, and grey. “That’s the concept of the film, and the number three will play an instrumental role in the screenplay as well. The film is packed with several interesting elements, but I don’t want to reveal them now,” he added.
