Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are constantly in news for their ongoing divorce rumours. Past few instances hinted that everything is not well between the two. However, the couple haven’t said anything regarding this, but this haven’t stopped netizens from digging out their old interviews in which they have spoken about various aspects of their lives.
In a 2012 interview with David Frost, Aishwarya talked about many aspects of her personality both on and off-screen. The interview has shown different moments from her journey to winning the Miss World title to her subsequent entry into films. Moreover, she also spoke about marriage, pregnancy and the changes she witnessed in her personal life.
During the interview, Aishwarya was asked how several magazines wrote about her not being able to lose weight post-pregnancy. The actress replied, “That’s pretty much my response. What’s the fuss about? It’s not something I feel the need to even be discussing or giving so much attention to because as you rightly put it, what’s the fuss about. It’s normal, natural in my case. That was the natural turn my body took in terms of whether I gained weight, or water retention in my body, whatever else goes with the space.”

Aishwarya further added that she is comfortable in her body and didn’t mind hide anything from the public eye. “I am comfortable and that’s why I have been who I have been. I stepped out in public when I could go out. And if I did think it was a big deal, I would have been in hiding!” The actress stated.
After dating for several years, Abhishek proposed to Aishwarya after the premiered of their film Guru in New York. They got married on April 20, 2007, in a grand ceremony and became parents to daughter Aaradhya in 2011.
