What is GNSS? News In Hindi: Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is a modern technology used for vehicle tracking and navigation. This technology is similar to GPS (Global Positioning System), which detects the vehicle's exact position and route of travel.

This system has recently been implemented by the Ministry of Road and Transport as a toll collection system in conjunction with FASTAG. The journey of the vehicle is tracked by the GNSS system and toll charges are calculated based on it. This system is already being used on some major highways and expressways.

In such a situation, work regarding this will soon be started in many states. Due to which the exact position of the vehicle and the route of travel will be known. This will not only solve many administrative problems but it will also benefit the people.
