200 BJP leaders from across the country will reach Delhi, preparations begin for assembly elections

BJP has already started preparations for the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, for which the election management will involve more than 200 key workers and leaders from across the country, with connections to different social classes and people living in Delhi. . These leaders will gather in each Delhi Assembly constituency for 2 months from December. A month ago, the BJP leadership had appointed the party's national vice president and MP Baijayant Panda as election in-charge and Ghaziabad MP Atul Garg as co-in-charge. Baijayant Panda is also the organization in-charge of Delhi and after the elections of Maharashtra and Jharkhand, the party will start preparing for the Delhi elections.

According to sources, these leaders will visit various assembly constituencies and try to include people of their community in BJP. Will also hold small informal meetings of 50 to 200 people. Sangh volunteers will also play an important role in this. Most of the population of Delhi comes from Purvanchal (Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh), Uttarakhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and southern states. The leaders of these states will be specially appointed to control these people.

Formed a steering committee

BJP has formed an election steering committee of 23 members for the Delhi Assembly elections, which will be headed by state president Virendra Sachdeva, while Union Minister Harshdeep Malhotra has been made the convenor of the committee and Dushyant Gautam, Manoj Tiwari and Arvinder Singh Lovely have been made co-convenors. The committee includes former Union Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Leader of Opposition Vijendra Gupta, Satish Upadhyay, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Raja Iqbal, Abhay Verma and MPs Ramveer Singh Bidhuri, Yogendra Chandolia, Kamaljit Sehrawat, Praveen Khandelwal and Bansuri Swaraj.

The tenure of Delhi Assembly will end in February 2025.

The current tenure of Delhi Assembly will end on 23 February 2025. Before this, Aam Aadmi Party may form government in Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal had recently resigned from the post of CM of Delhi, making Atishi the third woman CM of Delhi. Earlier there were Sushma Swaraj and Sheila Dixit.
