Bilgram (Hardoi). In Bilgram town, the dispute between the District Minister of the ruling party and the EO of the Municipality has now reached the government level. The District Minister has accused the EO of hindering development works and running an anti-government agenda. The special thing is that the SP leader has made statements in favor of EO. Due to which the atmosphere has become even more heated. According to information received from inside, BJP District Minister Mangatram Arkavanshi is angry after seeing the painting of his residence by the EO of the Municipality. He has complained to the government on many issues including corruption on EO.
Mangatram has written a letter to the government accusing the EO of Bilgram Municipality of obstructing the development work and running an anti-government agenda. When the matter gained momentum, SP leader and municipality candidate Saeed Ahmed started giving statements in favor of EO. He said that the EO is working honestly. Frustrated with not getting commission in the works, the BJP team is making baseless allegations. Bharatiya Janata Party Hardoi District Minister Mangatram Arkavanshi has also been a former councilor of Bilgram Municipality.
He has written a complaint letter to the government regarding the functioning of EO Bilgram and has demanded the transfer of EO Bilgram. It is said that EO Shashi Prabha Chaudhary got involved in local politics and got the proposals prepared without the knowledge of the Municipality Chairman. Due to which the image of the municipality and the party is being tarnished. Apart from this, without paying attention to the development works of the city, the work of painting their house is being done. In this regard, the Chairman Municipal Council Bilgram had sent a letter on 25th July to District Magistrate Hardai, MLA and MP regarding taking disciplinary action.
The DM got it investigated by SDM Bilgram in August 2024 but there was no improvement in the functioning of the EO. The District Minister has indicated in the letter that it has also come to his notice that the EO has caused loss of government money worth lakhs of rupees while he was in Municipal Council Sardhana. Whose investigation is pending in the Lokayukta office. EO says the allegations are baseless.
