The International Cricket Council (ICC) has sent silverware to Pakistan for the official Champions Trophy tour. The trophy reached Islamabad on Thursday (November 14) and will now be taken across the country from November 16 to 24. PCB has also confirmed this and said that the trophy will go to places like Skardu, Muri, Hunza and Muzaffarabad. Apart from Muri, the remaining three venues are part of the POK area and this move of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is likely to raise questions in India as well. Recently, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had refused to tour Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, while the Indian government also did not allow it.

The trophy tour of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will begin in Islamabad from November 16, which will also visit beautiful tourist destinations like Skardu, Muri, Hunza and Muzaffarabad.

BCCI and PCB face to face

BCCI and PCB are once again face to face regarding the Champions Trophy. India is not ready to send its cricket team to Pakistan. After India's refusal, the future of the Champions Trophy tournament is currently in darkness. At the same time, ICC also had to postpone the program to be held on November 11, the program of which was to be officially announced. At present no further decision has been taken in this matter.

PCB sought answers from BCCI

PCB has sought a written reply from BCCI asking the reason for not coming to Pakistan. Apart from this, PCB has also clarified its stand on not accepting the hybrid model for the tournament. Many reports have suggested that if the hybrid model is approved then India can play its matches in UAE. There have also been reports of the entire Champions Trophy tournament being shifted to South Africa. However, nothing has been officially announced yet.
