Miss Universe 2024 : Danish contestant Victoria Kier won the title of Miss Universe 2024. Riya Singh, who participated in the tournament on behalf of India, was out of the top 12. 130 participants from 125 countries took part in this competition. Earlier this year, Riya Singh also won the Miss Universe India beauty contest.

India had a chance to win this title for the fourth time this year. Indian beauties have won this title thrice on behalf of their country. In 1994, Sushmita Sen became the first Indian woman to win this title. After him, Lara Dutta and Harnaaz Sandhu also won this title.
The final five contestants of the 73rd Miss World pageant to be held in Mexico have been announced. Mexico, Nigeria, Thailand, Venezuela and Denmark qualified for the finals. The 12 finalists wore stunning evening gowns that reflected each country's unique culture and beauty.
In this round, participants are asked a series of questions designed to test their ability to analyze events and respond appropriately. The winner will be announced later.
After the semi-finals in the swimwear category, the 12 finalists for Miss Universe 2024 were announced. They represent Bolivia, Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Nigeria, Russia, Chile, Thailand, Denmark, Canada and Peru. Meanwhile, Marca reports that Peru, Venezuela and Mexico have already emerged as frontrunners.
