Victoria Kjaer Theilvig of Denmark has been crowned Miss Universe 2024. The 21-year-old has beat more than 120 other contestants to win the annual beauty pageant. The competition took place at Arena CDMX in Mexico City. Victoria was crowned the winner by her predecessor, Miss Nicaragua, Sheynnis Palacios.
The first runner up was Nigeria’s Chidimma Adetshina, while the second runner-up was Mexico’s Maria Fernanda Beltran. Miss Universe 2024 was thrilled after winning the prestigious title. She took to her Instagram and shared the news with the caption, “A new era begins! Congratulations to Denmark, our 73rd Miss Universe. May your reign inspire and empower women worldwide. #73MissUniverseCompetition.”
Victoria stole all the spotlight in a pink shimmery strapless gown featuring intricate sequin embroidery and beaded-off shoulder detailing. She complemented the outfit with shimmery eye shadow, mascara-coated lashes and soft pink lips. Last, her open wavy hairdo amped up the overall look.
