I met Neeraj at @KapilSharmaK9‘s show recently. His story and attitude are inspiring.

Hailing from Karnal in Haryana, Neeraj Goyat, who is a boxer and a mixed martial artist, began his boxing career in 2006 and claimed to fame in 2008 by winning the gold at the Youth National Tournament.
Goyat went on to make history as the first Indian boxer to have made it to World Boxing Council (WBC) world rankings. He was also given the ‘Honorary Boxer of the Year’ award in 2017 by the WBC Asia.
In an unfortunate setback, Goyat met with a severe car accident in 2019 after which his career came to a halt. However, he bounced back quickly and captured world’s attention when he appeared on the reality show ‘Bigg Boss OTT Season 3.’
The boxer also received global recognition after he defeated Whindersson Nunes on the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul undercard in 2024.
With the backing of Zomato, Goyat is all set to compete on the global stage again in the highly anticipated Paul vs Tyson boxing event which is streaming on Netflix.
Sharing the same, the CEO also said, “Zomato is excited and thrilled to be part of Neeraj’s journey as his official sponsors and root for him. “
