Big update regarding GATE exam, know when the exam will start

Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has released the schedule of GATE exam i.e. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Candidates who have applied for the exam can check and download the complete schedule of GATE 2025 exam by visiting the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The deadline for making corrections in the GATE 2025 application form has been extended. Now candidates can make changes or corrections in the form till 20th November. However, candidates will also have to pay fees for editing different information. Candidates can make corrections in the application form by visiting the official website goaps.iitr.ac.in.

Exam will start from 1st February

Gate 2025 According to the official schedule, the Gate exam will be conducted in February 2025. GATE 2025 exam will be conducted in two shifts on 1, 2, 15 and 16 February. The first shift exam will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift exam will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Candidates who qualify the GATE exam will be given admission into master programs (M.Tech, ME and MS) in prestigious institutes like IIT, NIT, IISc and many others.

30 test papers will be included

Next year also, a total of 30 test papers will be included in GATE exam. However, candidates can appear in only one or two test papers. GATE exam will include MCQ, MSQ and NAT type questions.

CY, AE, DA, ES, PI on 15th February 2025 from 9.30 am to 12.30 noon

EC, GE, XH, BM, EY on 15th February 2025 from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm

On 16th February 2025 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm CE1, GG, CH, PH, BT

On 16th February 2025 from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM CE2, ST, XE, XL, MN
