As the intriguing title suggests, Bloody Beggar tells the story of a beggar who manipulates perceptions by faking disabilities to earn money. His life takes an unexpected turn when he is invited to participate in a charity event. Driven by hunger, he agrees, only to find himself trapped inside a sprawling event mansion. What follows is a gripping narrative of survival and mystery within the mansion’s eerie confines.

The film’s streaming and satellite rights were secured by Amazon Prime Video and Sun TV. Bloody Beggar will be released on Amazon Prime Video on November 29, 2024.

Bloody Beggar cast
The film marks the directorial debut of Sivabalan Muthukumar, who also penned the story. Backed by Nelson Dilipkumar under the banner of Filament Pictures, the ensemble cast includes notable names like Radha Ravi, Redin Kingsley, and Padam Venu Kumar, along with fresh talents such as Anarkali Nazar and Master Ajaykrishna.
Sujith Sarang handled the cinematography behind the camera, while R. Nirmal’s editing and Jen Martin’s music added depth to the storytelling. Despite its modest theatrical performance, Bloody Beggar has an intriguing plot and a fresh perspective, making it worth watching.
