Apple Launches Final Cut Pro 11: An Updated Video Editing Software With AI Features
Apple has launched Final Cut Pro 11, one of the major updates to its video-editing software in the last couple of years. The core reason is the arrival of advanced features which are powered by artificial intelligence (AI). Along with bringing the new AI features to its wide range of products including iPhones, MacBooks, and more, the Cupertino-based tech giant is also ensuring that one of the best software of Apple may also get the taste of AI.
Apple also updated Final Cut Pro for iPad, Camera, Logic Pro, and Mac. Not only that, it also brings spatial video editing support for Apple Vision Pro. Here is what all is new with the latest Final Cut Pro.
Final Cut Pro 11: What’s New?
Apple’s new Final Cut Pro 11 introduces a more powerful Magnetic Mask feature to let the editors easily isolate the object or people from the video without the need for a green screen while reducing the time. Moreover, it gets one of the most requested features, Transcribe to Captions which can be used to automatically generate closed captions in the timeline with the help of an Apple-trained large language model that transcribes spoken audio.
Plus, it has a host of AI features to help you edit videos with ease and perfection. It includes Smart Conform to easily make square or vertical formats of the video; Enhance Light and Colour to automatically make edits in the colour, contrast, and brightness; Smooth Slo-Mo can help to generate better slo-mos while blending together frames of videos for the highest-quality movement; and Voice Isolation which will help to make speech better while reducing background noise from audio.
