The increasing air pollution in Delhi has increased concerns. On Monday morning, the air quality index crossed 400 in 32 areas of Delhi, which indicates that the air quality has reached dangerous levels. Meanwhile, GRAP-4 rules have been implemented regarding increasing pollution. At the same time, there has been a decline in the temperature of Delhi also. Light fog was also seen this morning. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the next two days.
On Monday morning, 32 areas of Delhi were registered in AQI Red Zone. AQI of Delhi’s Nehru Nagar has been recorded at 494, Punjabi 493, Rohini 491, IGI Airport 494, Major Dhyanchand Stadium 495 and Mundka 495. Due to increasing pollution, people are facing problems in breathing as well as irritation in eyes. Slowed down speed of vehicles
A white sheet of fog was seen on Delhi’s National Highway 9 late on Sunday night. Due to which the speed of vehicles moving on the roads remained quite low. Even Akshardham temple was not visible due to dense fog. The minimum temperature in Delhi on Monday is likely to be 14 and the maximum temperature will be 27 degrees Celsius.
Eye irritation, difficulty breathing
Delhi government has now implemented GRAP-4 rule from Monday regarding the increasing air quality index, which is going to affect government offices and schools as well as other departments. At the same time, regarding air pollution, drivers say that they are feeling a burning sensation in their eyes along with difficulty in breathing. People have now started wearing masks again while leaving the house.

In view of increasing pollution, GRAP-4 will be implemented in Delhi-NCR from 8 am on Monday. With the implementation of GRAP-4, many more restrictions will be imposed. In Delhi, where earlier only classes for children up to class 5 were made online, now orders have been given to run all the classes in online mode except classes 10th and 12th.
There will be a ban on trucks
Along with this, the entry of all types of trucks in Delhi has also been banned. No trucks will be allowed to enter Delhi except trucks carrying essential commodities or using clean fuel (LNG/CNG/BS-VI diesel/electric).
