During this, the air quality crossed 450 for the first time in this season. Which reached serious plus category. The air quality index in Delhi was recorded at 481 on Monday morning. Meanwhile, in the morning the entire NCR was seen covered in fog.

The air of the capital Delhi as well as the entire national capital looks more or less like this. Because during this period AQI 384 was recorded in Noida. While in Ghaziabad it was 400, in Gurugram it increased to 446. The air quality in Faridabad was recorded at 320 on Monday morning.

AQI crosses 400 in almost all areas of Delhi

Meanwhile, the average air quality index in the capital was recorded at 475 last night. Not only this, AQI was recorded beyond 400 in most areas of the capital. Due to deteriorating air quality, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in Delhi for Monday. Along with this, the government has also implemented Group 4 restrictions. During this period, the government can also decide to stop odd-even and offline classes completely. Apart from this, decisions like 50 percent attendance in offices and other emergency measures can also be taken.

Due to fog in Delhi-NCR, visibility at IGI Airport remained only 150 meters on Monday morning. Due to which many flights were delayed by 30 minutes to one hour. However, no information regarding cancellation of any flight has been revealed yet. In such a situation, airport officials say that passengers should definitely get information regarding flight timings from their operators.

GRAP-4 implemented in Delhi from today

Due to the continuously deteriorating air quality, GRAP-4 has been implemented in the capital Delhi from today. After the implementation of Grape-4, the entry of trucks coming from other states into Delhi will be completely closed. However, CNG and electric trucks and trucks carrying essential commodities will be able to come to Delhi. Apart from this, entry of light commercial vehicles registered outside Delhi is also prohibited. Under Grape-4, the ban will be applicable on Medium Goods Vehicles (MGVs) and Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) running on diesel of BS-IV and below standards.
