Sri Lanka won the match through DLS method
Sri Lanka, chasing the target of 210 runs, won the match with 1 over and 3 wickets remaining. Opener Pathum Nissanka played an inning of 28 runs in 33 balls. Apart from this, Avishk Fernando had scored 5 runs. Kusal Mendis scored 74 runs in 102 balls, which included 6 fours. Apart from him, Charith Asalanka scored 13 runs in 12 balls. Sri Lanka took a 2-0 lead in the 3-match series and also captured the series.

Theekshana's brilliant bowling
Michael Bracewell took the most wickets for New Zealand. He targeted 4 batsmen by spending 36 runs in 10 overs. On behalf of Sri Lanka, Mahish Theekshana took 3 wickets for 31 runs in a spell of 9.1 overs, while Wandersay also got 3 successes.
