New Delhi. A mother of three in Atlanta, USA, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing her two sons by putting them in an oven and then turning it on. Lamora Williams, 24, brutally killed her own sons, 1-year-old Jackter Penn and 2-year-old Younte Penn. The woman killed both the children within an hour. The woman, identified as Williams, has been convicted on 14 counts and will have to serve an additional 35 years in prison in addition to her life sentence. It is noteworthy that the incident took place in 2017. The woman herself had informed on the emergency number over the phone that she found two sons dead in her house.

According to reports, she called the emergency number and said, “When I came inside, my youngest son was lying on his head and my second son was lying on the floor and his brain was lying on the floor. Can you help me? It's not my fault. I just returned home.” Around the same time, the children's father, Jamil Penn, also called 911 and reported the incident, saying his wife had video called him.

After police officers reached the spot, they found the bodies of the children on the floor and said that both of them had burn marks on their bodies. A medical examiner disagreed with the initial finding, saying that his head had probably been placed inside an overturned oven. The autopsy report states that both the boys were tortured to death in an oven.

According to an arrest warrant issued by the Atlanta Police Department, at midnight on October 12, 2017, Williams intentionally placed her two young children in the oven and turned it on. Meanwhile, Williams has declared himself innocent and said that he is innocent. According to Williams' mother, Brenda, her daughter was struggling with mental health issues and should be placed on suicide watch while in prison.
