Did you know Ajay Devgn was offered Krrish 3? The actor turned down the film because he wasn’t satisfied with his role.

Hrithik Roshan portrayed the role of India’s own superhero, Krrish. The film was directed by his father Rakesh Roshan and together they presented the Indian superhero to the world. In 2013, Hrithik was back with the second installment of the film called Krrish 3, released on 1st November.

Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan first approached Ajay Devgn for Krrish 3. It wasn’t for Hrithik’s role but for Vivek Oberoi’s character, who was a handicapped evil scientist in the film. However, Ajay turned down the offer and it ultimately landed in Vivek’s kitty.

While speaking to News 18, Rakesh Roshan said that he always has a desire to collaborated with Ajay Devgn, “We never got a chance to work together. I couldn’t make a film in which I could cast him. He’s a very fine actor. In every film, he leaves a very big impact. I want to work with him but I am not getting a chance. I did go to him for Krrish 3 to play Vivek Oberoi’s role,” Rakesh revealed.

When Ajay Devgn declined to work in Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3

Rakesh Roshan said that Ajay Devgn turned down Krrish 3 because he didn’t want to be seen as a villain. Instead, the actor said that he is a hero and wouldn’t like getting killed in end. “He said the story is very good and the screenplay is very good but ‘Rakesh ji mere liye ye karna thoda mushkil hoga kyunki main bhi hero hoon. Mujhe end mein maare, acha nahi lagega. Aur aap toh compromise karenge nahi (It will be difficult for me to play the part because even I am hero. If I am killed in the end, it won’t look nice and you won’t compromise on the story).’ I said, “Yeah, I won’t comprise, which is why I am narrating the whole script.” Rakesh shared.

While Hrithik Roshan played the superhero in the film, he shared the screen with Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi. The film was a blockbuster in 2013. Moreover, Rakesh Roshan has also announced the third installment of the superhero film i.e. Krrish 4.
