New Delhi. Cold has entered and its havoc is visible on the capital Delhi. Many important works, from schools to transportation, have been affected. Here, IMD i.e. Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of fog wreaking havoc in more than 5 states including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The restrictions of the Graded Response Action Plan or GRAP 4 have already been implemented in Delhi.

IMD has said on Monday that there are chances of dense to very dense fog in the morning in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, North Rajasthan, North Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. At the same time, dense fog may persist during the next 24 hours. During the next 5 days, dense fog is expected in some areas of Himachal Pradesh late night or early morning. Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, West Assam and Meghalaya will also face fog on Monday.

The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of dense fog in Delhi-NCR on Monday morning. According to the department, the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 27 and 17 degrees Celsius.

Grap-4 has been implemented in Delhi NCR. Under this, the entry of all trucks except essential services and CNG-electric trucks was banned. Apart from electronic vehicles, CNG and BS VI diesel vehicles, all other commercial vehicles outside Delhi will be banned. Apart from this, apart from primary schools, schools from classes 06 to 9 and 11 will be closed. Governments can run online classes in Delhi and NCR.

Government and private offices can run with 50 percent capacity. Offices can decide for their employees to work from home. According to CAQM, children, the elderly and people with respiratory and or other chronic diseases should avoid outdoor activities and stay indoors as much as possible.
