Before the Delhi Assembly elections, changes in parties have intensified. After the resignation of Kailash Gehlot, the place in CM Atishi's cabinet became vacant, now AAP's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has made Raghuvinder Shaukeen, who is an MLA from Nangloi Jat seat of West Delhi, as cabinet minister. One post has become vacant in the Delhi Cabinet due to the resignation of Kailash Gehlot.

AAP leader Manish Sisodia told in a press conference that before coming into politics, Raghavendra Shaukeen used to study engineering, then came into politics and till now has been MLA from Nangloi Jat Assembly twice and councilor twice.

Raghuvinder Shaukeen became MLA after defeating BJP.
In the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, Raghuvinder Shokeen had defeated BJP's Sumanlata Shokeen by a margin of 11624 votes, whereas in the 2015 Assembly elections, Raghuvinder Shokeen had defeated BJP's Manoj Kumar Shokeen.
Kailash Gehlot joined BJP, Kejriwal said, 'It is his wish to go wherever he wants'.

Raghuvinder Shaukeen said, “Aam Aadmi Party works for every society, but BJP works to divide on the basis of religion and caste. An example of this has been seen in Haryana elections,”
Shaukeen said that Aam Aadmi Party has always taken everyone along, whereas BJP has always worked against Jats, be it the issue of wrestlers, farmers' movement or Haryana elections. In this way, BJP won the elections in Haryana and divided our society because Hindus and Muslims did not live there.
