Regarding Daniel Vettori missing the Perth Test, a Cricket Australia spokesperson said, “We are very supportive of Daniel Vettori's role as head coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Dan will complete final preparations for the first Test before participating in the IPL auction. After this he will remain with the team for the remaining matches of the Border Gavaskar Trophy.”
