Babu's complaint reached the Deputy Chief Minister
The health department of the district is once again in the news due to an employee of the health department. Opposition Samajwadi Party MLA has written a letter to the state's Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak demanding action against the departmental employee. He said that due to the actions of this Babu the image of the department is being tarnished.
In this letter focusing on the conduct and financial irregularities of a clerk named Munna Babu posted in the Health Department of Ballia, SP MLA from Central Assembly Constituency of Lucknow Ravidas Mehrotra has written that continuous complaints about the said Babu are being received from the general public. He misbehaves with the public and public representatives and has also been jailed in a financial scam. Dr. Jayant Kumar, who was previously posted in the department, had also complained to the CMO against the said employee. According to the SP MLA, he is an undisciplined and autocratic worker.
A case was filed against him under serious sections by the then CMO Ballia Dr. Pritam Kumar. After which he was suspended and remained detained in jail. After suspension, he was re-posted in the said district. The MLA says that according to the information received from the Manav Sampada Portal of the Uttar Pradesh Government, Munna Babu had got the job on 12 May 1987.
He has passed high school examination in the year 1984 and intermediate examination in the year 1985. It is not possible to pass both these examinations in the same year. The MLA has requested Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak that the posting of this employee in the said district is not appropriate in public interest. He should be transferred elsewhere so that the health work of the district can be carried out smoothly and easily.
