Violence broke out after bodies of missing women and child were found
In fact, recently violence has erupted in Manipur after dead bodies of women and children were found. Bodies of two women and a child were recovered from Barak river in Jiribam district. The bodies of a woman and two children were found on Friday night. It is alleged that the militants kidnapped and killed them. Last Monday, there was an encounter between militants and security forces in Jiribam, after which three women and three children living in the relief camp were missing. 10 militants were killed in the encounter.
