Thadani began his career in 1994 with the film Ye Dillagi. Since 2015 he has been distributing the Hindi-dubbed versions of South Indian films.

Anil Thadani married actress Raveena Tandon in 2004, after they got engaged in 2003. The couple tied the knot in a ceremony in Udaipur, and they have now been married for 20 years.
