Australia Storm: Destructive storm in Australia causes damage to properties, many flights cancelled.

Australia Storm : Many properties were destroyed by the devastating storm in New South Wales (NSW), Australia's most populous state, on Sunday night. Due to the impact of the storm, more than 20 flights were cancelled. The storm was so strong that a part of the Sydney Harbor Bridge was uprooted.

According to reports, winds gusting over 100 kilometers per hour and heavy rain lashed much of Sydney and New South Wales on Sunday night, with widespread blackouts affecting people across the state. The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) is forecasting more severe storms in north-eastern NSW on Monday.

The storm caused one square meter of concrete and steel road plate to be torn off the Sydney Harbor Bridge, damaging 25 cars. Due to this, the traffic system on the bridge was disrupted.

NSW Transport Secretary Josh Murray said the state government would cover the cost of repairing the vehicles.
