After the notice from Telangana government, Diljit Desanjh said – 'Close the liquor shops, I will quit singing'
Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh remains in the headlines for his live concerts. His concert is getting great response everywhere. The name of his tour is 'Dil Luminati', which will attract people all over the world.
Used to be. Recently, Telangana government had sent a notice to Daesanj. The notice states that do not sing songs promoting alcohol like 'Patiala Peg'. Diljit has given an interesting reply regarding this notice.
Recently, Diljit Dosanjh interacted with fans from the stage during a concert. He spoke on the notice of Telangana government. He also posted the video on social media. He wrote in this post, there is a good news. Today I did not receive any notice. There is another good news. I will not sing any song on alcohol. I have also sung dozens of devotional songs. In the last 10 days I have released two religious songs, but no one is talking about them. Everyone is discussing this song 'Patiala Peg'. An anchor on TV used to say that 'If an actor talks to you about alcohol, you defame him, but if a singer sings about alcohol, you make him popular. I am not calling anyone and asking whether you have drunk alcohol or not. I'm just singing. Thousands of songs have been made on alcohol in Bollywood and mine will have only 2-4 songs at most. I won't sing that either.
He wrote that 'If all the states declare themselves liquor free states, then from the next day Diljit Dosanjh will never sing a song on liquor. I have another proposal. In whichever city I perform, declare it a dry day, I will not sing songs based on alcohol.
