Hyderabad: IT and Industries Minister Dudilla Sridhar Babu announced that Telangana is set to become a center of excellence in quantum computing. Speaking at an international conference on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare held at a hotel here on Monday, the minister revealed plans to attract Silicon Valley companies to Telangana state, which are already involved in software, pharma and life sciences research and development. He highlighted the launch of “Mira”, a virtual medical assistant powered by AI, at AIG and described it as a milestone in healthcare transformation.
Sridhar Babu also acknowledged the increasing use of AI in hospital information management systems, which significantly benefits patients. He assured that the state government will provide all possible assistance to organizations using AI in healthcare and industry.
