Telangana's new EV policy
According to the agency, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said that under Government Order 41, the new EV policy will be implemented from Monday (November 18). The state government has decided to provide 100 percent exemption in road tax and registration fees for electric vehicles for an initial period of two years till December 31, 2026. The purpose of this decision is to make Hyderabad pollution free.

State Government Road tax and registration fees for electric two-wheelers, four wheelers, commercial passenger vehicles such as taxis, private cars, electric three-seater auto-rickshaws, electric light goods carriers including three-wheeler goods vehicles, electric tractors and electric buses.
