28 regular trains affected due to fog, passengers reacted like this

New Delhi: Fog has started affecting the speed of trains. Bad weather and deep fog in Delhi is affecting the trains going to and from Delhi. Many trains are running late on Monday. Information received from railways

According to information received from the Railways, 28 regular and special trains are running late by several hours due to fog. Saharsa-Anand Vihar special train is also included in the most affected trains. This train was 26 hours late from its scheduled time.

The special train from Muzaffarnagar to Haridwar faced a delay of 12 hours, while the Delhi-Jayanagar service was delayed by 7 hours.

Train number 06071 Hazrat Nizamuddin Express train from Kochuveli to Delhi arrived with a delay of 6 hours 47 minutes at 3.27 am on Monday. Train number 12406 is also running late. This train has been rescheduled for 03 hours 35 minutes.

Passengers reaction on train delay

All the passengers traveling by train are very angry with the delay in running of their trains. Many passengers have expressed their displeasure through their social media. A passenger has written on social media platform X that Gede-Sealdah is running late by more than 1 hour. I am going to give blood to a patient in Kolkata who needs blood before 8 am. I don't know how to reach before 8 o'clock. Why was no advance information given about the delay of the train? Similarly, many passengers have written on Facebook describing their problems.

Changes made on train service

Southern Railway has issued a notification regarding changes in train services on the Central-Arakkonam section of Chennai. In this, passenger safety and train operation safety have been kept first. It has been told that due to engineering work, there may be disruption in the operation of trains on 19 and 26 November 2024. Line block and signal block will be implemented between Basin Bridge and Vyasarpadi Jiwa station from 23:10 pm to 06:40 am on these mentioned dates, due to which many express trains will be affected.
