Mobile News Desk – Affordable smartphone maker Tecno is preparing to launch a new phone in India. The company has confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Tecno POP 9 4G. It is being brought as the successor of Pop 8. Tecno offers many cheap phones in the Pop line-up and the company is bringing this one at a lower price too.

A dedicated microsite has gone live on Amazon for this smartphone. Where the company has confirmed most of its specifications. The affordable phone will be launched in India on November 22. After launch, customers will be able to buy it from Amazon. Amazon has also indicated that the price of the phone will be less than Rs 10,000. It has been teased on Amazon with a price tag of Rs. Let us tell you that the previous Pop 8 4G was launched for Rs 6,499.

Design
Tecno Pop 9 will have a center-located dynamic punch hole cutout. There will be a SIM tray on the left side. There will be a power button and volume rocker on the right side. There will be a square camera module with LED flash on the rear panel. Also USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack will be available. Techno Pop 9 will be launched in Glittery White, Lime Green and Startrail color options.

ChipsetThe upcoming phone will have MediaTek Dimensity Helio G50 processor for performance. This is an entry-level chipset designed to handle small tasks. On Amazon, the company said that it will come with three years of lag-free performance.
display- It will have a 6.67-inch HD+ display supporting a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The previous model came with a 6.56-inch screen.
Memory- It will have 64 GB internal storage with 6 GB RAM. Which can be expanded up to 1 TB.

Battery- The phone will come with a 5,000 mAh battery which will provide 840 hours of standby backup. This battery will be able to provide 32 hours of talk time and 9.5 hours of video playback. Camera- It will have a 13MP rear camera. Whereas the previous Pop 8 was launched with a 12MP camera. IP54 rating will be given to keep the phone safe from water and dust. It will feature DTS audio, dual stereo speakers and IR remote control. Techno had also launched the 5G variant of this phone last month.
