Trending stocks today: Honasa, Suzlon Energy, Acme Solar, Nalco
Mumbai: Honasa Consumer, Suzlon Energy, National Aluminium Company Limited (Nalco) and Acme Solar Holdings Ltd share price in focus on Tuesday morning. While Suzlon and Acme Solar shares gained, the shares of Honasa Consumer took a hit for the second consecutive day. Nalco stock was trading marginally lower.
The BSE Sensex jumped over 900 points to 78,270.41, while NSE Nifty gained to 23,731.80.
Honasa share price
Honasa Consumer share price has slumped over 30 per cent in two days after the company reported a consolidated loss of Rs 18.57 crore for the July-September quarter on account of inventory correction. The stock slumped over 10 per cent to Rs 263.20 on the BSE. At the NSE, the crip plummeted nearly 12 per cent at Rs 263.15.
Honasa Consumer Ltd, owns FMCG brands such as Mamaearth and The Derma Co. The firm’s revenue from operations lowered 6.9 per cent to Rs 461.82 crore in Q2 of 2024-25.
“Revenue in Q2 stood at Rs 462 crore reflecting around 6.9 per cent growth, while revenue adjusted for inventory correction was Rs 525 crore with the growth rate of 5.7 per cent,” Honasa Consumer said in its earnings statement.
Suzlon Energy share price
Suzlon Energy share price gained nearly 5 per cent to Rs 62.22 per equity share. The multibagger wind energy stock jumped after global brokerage firm Morgan Stanley upgraded Suzlon Energy stock to ‘Overweight’ from ‘Equal-weight’.
Interestingly, the brokerage cut the Suzlon share price target to Rs 71 from Rs 78 earlier. It further recommended buying the counter as the scrip has recorded a steep correction. JM Financial has suggested Suzlon Energy price target of Rs 81, while Nuvama Institutional Equities has set the target of Rs 67 in the next 12 months.
NALCO share price
Nalco share price marginally down at Rs 238.66 per equity share today morning. The stock jumped 10 per cent on November 18 after the aluminium prices increased over the weekend after China proposed to reduce or cancel export tax rebates for copper and aluminium products with effect from December 1, 2024.
Acme Solar share price
Acme Solar share price gained 10 per cent to Rs 276.85. The ACME Solar Holdings stock jumped after the company’s wholly owned subsidiary sealed a deal for a Rs 3,753 crore term loan financing from REC Limited for a major renewable energy project. ACME Solar informed the exchanges that ACME Sun Power Private Limited secured the loan for “the development & construction of a 320 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) projects in collaboration with SJVN.”
