Variants and Booking

The company has launched the new Dezire in four variants – LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi Plus. The car is available in seven colours: Gallant Red, Alluring Blue, Nutmeg Brown, Bluish Black, Arctic White, Magma Gray and Splendid Silver. Official booking of this car has started, which can be booked for Rs 11,000.

How is the new Maruti Dzire?

Many changes have been made in this car in terms of look and design. Earlier round shapes were seen at the corners, now they have been changed to sharp angles. The new front grille, rectangular and sharp LED headlights, newly designed fog lamp housing and chunky gloss black trims are making this car more attractive. At the rear, Y-shaped LED lighting has been done in the tail lamp.

The tailgate has a chrome strip that connects the two ends. There is a spoiler-like bulge on the boot-lid, while some contouring elements have been incorporated into the rear bumper. Diamond-cut alloy wheels have been provided in the top model. Overall, the sharp styling elements make this car look better and more mature than the current model.

Power and Performance

This car gets the Swift's 1.2 liter, 3 cylinder 'Z' series engine, which generates power of 81.58 PS and torque of 111.7 Nm. This new engine is smoother than the previous model. The new Dezire has been launched in 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic transmission gearbox options with a company-fitted CNG kit.
