Hyundai Creta EV: in view of the continuously increasing demand for SUVs (SUV sales growth) in the Indian market. The SUV segment recorded a 52 per cent share in Indian automobile sales figures in the first half of the year 2024. Due to this growing demand, leading automobile manufacturing companies are moving towards launching their new models.
Hyundai plans to launch a new SUV
In line with this growing demand, Hyundai has announced the launch of three new SUVs in the coming days. Which also includes an electric model. These new models promise to further strengthen Hyundai’s already established position in the market.
Hyundai Creta EV
Hyundai India will soon launch the electric variant of its best-selling SUV, Creta (Hyundai Creta EV launch). This electric model will be equipped with a 45kWh battery that can travel a distance of 450 kilometers on a single charge. This vehicle has already been tested on Indian roads and will be available in the market in early 2025.
Updates from the new Hyundai facility
An updated version of Hyundai Venue will also be launched in 2025. There is a possibility of major changes to the interior and exterior of this new model. However, there is no possibility of any change in the powertrain.
Hyundai Tucson facelift
Apart from this, the updated version of the Hyundai Tucson facelift was also launched globally last year and will also be launched in the Indian market in 2025. Customers will also see cosmetic changes in this model. But no changes are expected in the propulsion system.
