PSTET 2024 admit card released; exam on December 1

New Delhi: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2024 admit card. The PSTET admit card 2024 download link is available on the official website, pstet.pseb.ac.in. The necessary credentials which include the mobile number and date of birth are required to log in and download the PSTET 2024 admit card.

The details mentioned in the admit card are the name of the candidate, roll number, photograph of the candidate, signature of the candidate, exam centre name, exam centre address, exam date, exam timing, guidelines to follow and other necessary information.

PSTET exam date

The Punjab TET will be conducted on December 1. PSTET will have a total of two papers- paper 1 and paper 2. The PSTET 2024 paper 1 exam is for shortlisting candidates for the post of teachers in primary classes (Class 1 to Class 5) and paper 2 is to select candidates for upper primary classes (Class 6 to Class 8) The board will declare the PSTET result 2024 on January 1, 2025.

Paper 1 will have questions from Child Development and Pedagogy, Environmental Studies, Mathematics Language 1 (Punjabi) and Language 2 (English) sections. In paper 2 the questions will be from Child Development and Pedagogy Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics and Science (for Mathematics and Science teachers) and Social Science (for Social Science teachers).

There will be a total of 150 questions of one mark each in both paper 1 and paper 2. There will be no negative marking for wrong responses.

PSTET is a state-level exam conducted to recruit teachers in primary and elementary schools across Punjab. The PSTET certificate is valid for a lifetime. The exam is conducted offline once a year. To apply for the Punjab TET exam the age of the candidates need to be at least 18 years. There is no upper age restriction to apply for the exam.
