IPL 2025: Rishabh Pant left Delhi Capitals for money? Made a big revelation; Gave a befitting reply to the veteran
The mega auction of IPL 2025 is going to be quite explosive. The biggest reason for this is the presence of many star players, on whom franchises will not even think twice about spending money. Indian wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant will also be seen in the mega auction, who has not been retained by Delhi Capitals this time. Many different reasons are being mentioned behind Pant’s release. Some are talking about the issue of captaincy while some cited money as the reason. However, now this player himself has made it clear why his retention was not done. He has created a stir on social media with his tweets.
Actually, Star Sports released one of its videos, in which Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar was talking about Delhi Capitals and Rishabh Pant. When asked whether Pant would come back to Delhi, he said that it is difficult to say anything about the dynamics of the auction but the Delhi franchise would definitely like to get him back. Many times there is a negotiation between the player and the franchise regarding the retention fee and this time the players got more money than the initial retention. There may not have been an agreement between Pant and Delhi on this matter but I am confident that Delhi will definitely go for Pant. In reply to this video, Pant said a big thing in his tweet.
Rishabh Pant made a big revelation about leaving Delhi Capitals
Responding to Star Sports’ tweet with the video, Rishabh Pant said about his retention: “I can definitely say that my retention was not about money (further white heart emoji).”
This wicketkeeper batsman has made it clear that money was not an issue regarding retention between him and Delhi Capitals. In such a situation, what is the real thing, only Pant himself and the Delhi franchise would know. However, whatever may be the reason, some reports have claimed that Pant wanted the captaincy but DC is looking at someone else to make him the captain this time. Perhaps this could also be a reason due to which both the parties decided to separate from each other.
