Coconut oil contains natural moisturizer which helps in softening and hydrating the dry and dead skin of the feet. On clean and dry feet, apply a small amount of coconut oil on the heels and soles of the feet and massage gently in circular motions.

Leave the oil on overnight and go to sleep wearing socks to retain moisture. Use foot scrubs with natural exfoliants, such as sugar or salt. This is a great way to get rid of dead cells. Apply the scrub gently on wet feet, wash and dry rough areas such as heels thoroughly to reveal soft and smooth feet.

You can also use a pumice stone to remove dead skin cells from your feet. Wet it and rub it slowly on the rough parts of your skin. Do not apply too much pressure to avoid skin irritation. To maintain smooth feet, use this remedy daily and you will be happy to see the results in a few days. Epsom salt is also known as 'hydrated magnesium sulphate'.

It has exfoliating and detoxifying properties. If you want to use this home remedy, then add a small amount of Epsom salt in a basin of hot water and keep your feet soaked for 15-20 minutes. This salt will help in softening the dead skin cells.

Which will make it easier to remove them with a scrub or pumice stone. Apart from this, mix equal quantity of vinegar and hot water in a large tub. Keep your feet soaked in it for 10-15 minutes. After this, gently scrub your feet with a brush or pumice stone to remove loose dead skin. You will get rid of dead skin accumulated on the heels and soles. Feet will become soft and smooth.
