Officials of the Municipal Industry Trade Board raised the issue of traffic jams on the main road in the city with the police administration. After meeting inspector in-charge Deependra Singh, the officials demanded regular deployment of policemen on the main road. The inspector in-charge assured everyone that the administration will make every effort.
Arpit Jaiswal, city president of the Industry Trade Board, who came to meet the inspector in-charge, said that being the main business center of the district, thousands of traders and customers from far away places come to Shahganj town every day. Apart from this, being a national highway, trucks, buses and thousands of passenger vehicles also pass through it every day. Due to this, there is a traffic jam throughout the day from Manoj Dresses intersection in West Kaudiyan to JC Chowk. Which is destroying the retail and wholesale trade of Shahganj.
He said that sufficient police force is not deployed on the main road to control the traffic jam. Sometimes it happens that not even a single police personnel or home guard is visible there, due to which the situation of traffic jam becomes worse. He demanded the inspector in-charge to deploy adequate number of policemen on duty from JC Chowk to Manoj Dresses intersection, so that the problem of traffic jam can be controlled and traffic can be facilitated.
On this occasion, former president Ravikant Jaiswal, Deepak Jaiswal, Diwakar Mishra, Irshad Ahmed, Bhuvneshwar Modanwal, Krishnakant Soni, Gopal etc. were present.
