The District Election Officer has told all the media persons that they can go and cover the elections with the ID card of their institution. But they can neither make a video nor interview anyone during the voting period.

In this election, the entire government has made its prestige a question where BJP candidate is Deepak Patel while Samajwadi Mujtaba Siddiqui Bahujan Samaj Party has strengthened the fight by fielding Thakur Jitendra Singh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held two meetings, while Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brijesh Pathak held three meetings each. Half a dozen ministers of the government are still in the area.

Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav also held a big public meeting here. Samajwadi Party's Legislative Council member Mansingh has alleged that ordering the removal of burqa and identification of Muslim women is against the Constitution. Its authority has been given only to the agent inside the ground, but it is being done at the behest of the administration to scare Muslim women and vote. The reason for not putting it is to create fear.
