Miss Hong Kong and actress Grace Chan, married to Hong Kong actor Kevin Cheng, has dismissed recent divorce rumors, emphasizing that their marriage remains strong and happy.

At a recent event, Chan addressed the speculation, admitting she was unaware of the rumors as she avoids gossip. She attributed the claims to people seeking to stir up drama. “Maybe those people wanted to create something to talk about. It’s not true. I have been in the industry for 11 years, what haven’t I seen or heard?” she told Yahoo! Life.

Some gossip sites recently alleged that the couple is on the brink of divorce, citing claims that Cheng had “showed his true colors”.

Cheng, 55, a U.S.-born actor managed by TVB, gained fame with his first leading role in the TVB drama Hard Fate and went on to star in hits like “Under the Canopy of Love”, “Last One Standing”, “Ip Man”, and “Scarlet Heart”. He won Best Actor at the TVB Anniversary Awards in 2011 for his role in the legal drama “Ghetto Justice”.

Chan, 33, a Canadian-born actress and TVB host, won the Miss Hong Kong crown in 2013 before transitioning to acting. She starred in TV dramas such as “Raising the Bar”, “Blue Veins”, and “Keyboard Warriors”, as reported by the South China Morning Post.

The couple met in 2014 during the filming of their respective dramas “Overachievers” and “Eye in the Sky”. They began dating a year later after co-starring in “Blue Veins”. Despite some parental concerns over their 22-year age gap, they married in 2018 in a wedding held in Bali, according to 8 Days.

The couple has three sons: Rafael, 5, Yannick, 3, and Carlos, 1.
