KL Rahul set to open in Perth Test, gives glimpse of his fitness in viral video

KL Rahul provided an injury update ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, showcasing his batting in nets after recovering from an elbow injury sustained during a practice match.

New Delhi: Ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Indian fans received two big blows. A five-match Test series will be played between India and Australia for this trophy, with the first match scheduled to take place from November 22 to November 26 in Perth. Before the first Test, news came in that two Indian batsmen, KL Rahul and Shubman Gill, had been injured. However, KL Rahul himself has now provided an update on his injury.

Kl Rahul posted a video on his Instagram handle, where he can be seen batting in the nets and he also participated in India’s match stimulation where he opened up with Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Rahul was looking in a great touch with the bat as played some excellent shots with great timing, he was looking comfortable while playing stacking shots.

Ahead of the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, on Friday, a short ball from Prasidh Krishna hit his elbow, after which he had to leave the field due to the pain. This year, KL Rahul has played seven international matches, amassing 265 runs at an average of 29.44, including two half-centuries, with a top score of 86.
