Champions Trophy: Will Champions Trophy be held in Pakistan only? PCB not ready to bow down, said- we told ICC..

Cricket News Desk. Tension continues between India and Pakistan regarding Champions Trophy 2025. On one hand, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is adamant on its insistence, while on the other hand, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is adamant on expectations even after the matter is cleared. On Monday, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi gave a big statement on this issue. He talked about the questions sent to the ICC and made it clear that his hopes are still intact. However, no stance has been taken by the ICC on this issue at present.

Will Champions Trophy be held in Pakistan?

BCCI had clearly refused to send Team India to Pakistan, this was confirmed by the PCB itself. After this decision, the matter seems to be gaining momentum. Pakistan Cricket Board has sought clarification from ICC on BCCI's decision. BCCI has not yet received its answer. But Mohsin Naqvi made it clear that he still hopes to successfully host the mega tournament in Pakistan.

What did Mohsin Naqvi say?

According to ESPN report, Mohsin Naqvi while talking to the media at Lahore Gaddafi Stadium said, 'We have sent our questions to the ICC. We are still waiting for their reply. I believe that sports and politics should be kept separate and no country should mix them. I still have positive expectations about the Champions Trophy.

Mohsin Naqvi further said, 'Any team that qualifies for the Champions Trophy is ready to come to Pakistan. No one has any objection to coming here. I will say again today that if India has any concerns then let us know. We can solve their problems. But I don't think they have any solid reason.

Naqvi said, 'Pakistan's dignity is most important for us. I think the ICC should think deeply about its credibility and whether it is an organization for all countries. That route has been rescheduled. At present we are not aware of any changes regarding the tournament.
