BLACKPINK's Rosé surprises fans with announcement of new track 'Number One Girl'

Mumbai Mumbai:BLACKPINK's Rosé is all the rage right now! After shaking up the global music scene with 'APT' featuring Bruno Mars, the K-pop star has announced another single. The announcement comes ahead of the release of her highly anticipated solo album 'Rosie', which will be released on December 6. Exciting BLINKs, Rosé has announced her latest single 'Number One Girl'. This track will be released on 22nd November.

Taking to social media, the K-pop sensation made the unexpected announcement. The news comes after Rosé broke records and achieved new milestones with her collaborative track 'APT' with Bruno Mars. Meanwhile, the collaborative track has already broken streaming records, topped global charts and given the K-pop idol the perfect all kill. The upcoming solo track appears to be a pre-release ahead of the launch of 'Rosie'. In the announcement post, the BLACKPINK star is seen wearing a white T-shirt with the track's title printed in bold red. The accompanying caption read, “Number one girl. November 22nd. 12AM EST. This is for my number one.” Meanwhile, in a recent conversation with People Magazine, BLACKPINK's Rosé opened up about the inspiration behind her upcoming solo album. Her album is about 'toxic relationships', which many girls in their 20s have gone through, just like Rosé.

She said, “I think I'm quite grateful to have gone through some relationships, you know, like a normal girl in her 20s. I want people to understand that I'm a lot different than your average girlfriend or 23-year-old girl. No different. If you listen to my songs and have been in a relationship like that, it's probably not even about a boyfriend, just any kind of toxic relationship. . It's not easy to be 20. It's when you're vulnerable and confused, excited and angry about life. That's what I wanted to sing about.” Meanwhile, her upcoming 'Rosie' will release on December 6. The proposed album consists of 12 songs. These include – 'Number One Girl', 'Drinks or Coffee', 'Two Years', '3AM' and 'Game Boy'. Additionally, other tracks included are – 'APT', 'Stay a Little Longer', 'Too Bad for Us', 'Call It the End', 'Not the Same', 'Toxic Till the End' and 'Dance All Night'.
