The trailer for Mohanlal’s directorial debut Barroz 3D – Guardian of Treasure was unveiled on Tuesday. The film is set to release in cinemas worldwide on December 25. Presented as a virtual 3D trailer, it begins with a voiceover introducing a special ghost said to reside in the da Gama Palace. The trailer then reveals Mohanlal as Barroz, a protector who defends the palace’s hidden riches from intruders. It later shifts focus to a teenage girl named Isabella, showcasing her adventures and her bond with Barroz. The film promises to be a visually captivating 3D spectacle.
Barroz also features Kallirroi Tziafeta, Ignacio Mateos, and Cesar Lorente Mouse in key roles. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Santosh Sivan, editing by B Ajith Kumar, songs composed by Lydian Nadhaswaram and background score by Mark Kilian. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, it has TK Rajeev Kumar as its creative head, with additional dialogues penned by Kalavoor Ravikumar.
