Women also ready to defeat Australia, BCCI announces 16-member team

Sports Desk, Obnews: In women's cricket, a three-match ODI series will be played between India and Australia. For this, Team India will soon leave for Australia tour. India has announced the team for the women's ODI series against Australia. Along with experienced players, young players have also got a chance in the team captained by Harmanpreet Kaur.

Smriti Mandhana, Priya Punia and Priya Mishra are part of the team. The first match of the ODI series between India and Australia will be played on 5 December. Team India has included Jemimah Rodriguez, Harleen Deol, Deepti Sharma, Yastika Bhatia and Richa Ghosh in the team for this series.

Deepti has performed brilliantly on many occasions. Harleen and Richa also showed their strength. India's experienced opener Smriti Mandhana is also a part of the team. But Shefali Verma has not got a place in the team. Team India has also given a chance to Titas Sadhu, Arundhati Reddy and Renuka Singh.

Saima Thakor and Tejal are also part of Team India. Let us tell you that the first ODI between India and Australia will be played on 5th December. The second ODI will be held on December 8. Both these matches will be played in Brisbane. The third ODI between India and Australia will be played in Perth.

This series is going to be very important for both the teams, because this series will be played under the World Test Championship.
