UP By-Election Live : Voting is going on in nine assembly seats of UP by-election. There are a total of 3435974 voters on these seats. 90 candidates including 11 women are in the fray. The highest number of voters are in Ghaziabad and the least in Sisamau assembly constituency.

According to the data released by the Election Commission, the voting percentage in Ghaziabad seat was 12.87 percent, Majhwan 20.41 percent, Meerapur 26.18 percent, Khair 19.18 percent, Phulpur 17.68 percent, Kundarki 28.54 percent, Karhal 20.71 percent, Katehari 24.28 percent, Sisamau 15.91 percent. .
Police accused of beating polling agent
Rashid Ahmed, a youth who became a polling agent in Sisamau seat of Kanpur, was beaten up by the police of Chamanganj. On this, SP candidate Naseem Solanki and SP leader Vikas Samrat reached Muslim Jubilee Girls Inter College. He accused the police of harassing the workers.
